Ok- women, it’s bathing suit time. Are you ready for the beach? Let’s not let ourselves be obsessive about trying to look like some underfed fashion model. So many women blessed with full Reubenesque figures miss out on the joys of sand and sun because of Hollywood (Hollywierd) standards that a woman should only show herself if she resembles a Barbie doll. I have spoken with many women that refuse to get out into the water or even to the beach all because of mass advertising concerned with selling products to them to reach unrealistic body image goals…

Here’s what many men have told me about plump women and sex appeal. “I am attracted to a women who is soft and womanly. I like a woman that has something to grab onto.”
George from South Carolina says that, “There’s nothing like the feeling of a nice, voluptuous woman to squeeze.” “I love the feminine softness of a larger woman. I like the velvety feeling of her soft skin and love to be enveloped in her fullness.” I have heard similar stories over and over. It’s not important to most men what your size is. It’s what shines forth. It is your self- confidence and the way in which you carry yourself. Most men are not the ones concerned with your body size. It is the media and maybe the competitive edge of other women (from the media and advertisers selling it to them!) that make this an issue, especially on the west- coast of the US.

Please don’t miss out on the fun in the water and the beaches because of some men and women in a corporation that want to sell you some idea of what is sensuously acceptable in society. They are there to make money at the expense of your self-esteem and your insecurities. If you love yourself then you will be loved. There is a lot more to a person that attract others in “real life.” Nurture the points in you that you want to develop further. Stand proud and shine, don’t whine and put yourself down, always look people directly in the eyes. Walk proudly to the ocean, take in the salty air, strip off that cover-up, smile and get yourself wet. You are the Goddess! The reflection of Mother Earth in all her abundance! Go forth and unite with the waters. Remember that Aphrodite, the goddess of love emerged from the foamy waters. Pay her homage and jump in to celebrate your fruitfulness!
