A great idea for family reunions, holidays and get-to-gethers is to start a family diary. Buy a blank journal book and start it off with the matriarch of the family. At the next festive occasion have this person place an entry in the diary detailing their life, interests, goals, etc. at that point in time. Then, they hand it off to someone else at the next get-to-gether.

The diary passes hands as relatives visit each other. It is a great written legacy from the individuals within your family that you care so deeply about. And, it never has to end but can continue on to the next generation!
