You Taught Me How To Love
By Dorothy Rubright
When we met I knew I had found a friend, someone I could confide in about my deepest secrets and desires. I felt as if we had some kind of connection to one another but I was not sure what it was all I knew for sure was that I could count on you to be there if ever I need a freind.
Some how we grew closer and our friendship turned into love and we began seeing one another as lovers but we also stayed friends. We learned that Love can be a wonderful thing to share when you are also friends. We laughed together often and at times you held me close while I cried. I remember how you use to look into my eyes and I would see pure Love looking back at me. I remember how sexy your smile was and how much I loved it when you would sing to me. I remember the wonderful feeling I got everytime you made love to me it was as if you reached deep down into my heart and soul with your love. You made me smile when I was sad, you made me laugh when I wasn't even in the mood, you gave me such love and happiness even though I felt I didn't deserve it. You opened my eyes to a brand new world, you taught me how to love, you showed me how to dream, You broke down the walls that surrounded my heart and made me want to feel again. Your every touch set my soul on fire making me want you even more. For this I thank you and want you to know that I will always love you until the end of time For you are my soulmate and I am yours.
