The crowd the thrill
Was just like a movie
Inching through the crowd
Music pulsating my ear
Moving to the bar
For just one more
headed to the back
where I claimed my spot
I looked over again

Connecting and flirting thru sight

And to my surprise
She, yes she came to me

Speechless I didn’t know what to reply
3 yrs older and possessing looks superior to all
we hit it off, talking and talking listening to our song
the flirting excelled, we opened up, then it happened
we connected, we kissed…… at the table in front of em all
still sitting down in our seats, we got close
my heart filled as time flew by
I wasn’t this happy in god knows how long
I had found what I needed
Again back and forth we went at it…
Life was good
But I knew it was coming
The clock struck 4 and last call was made
Was time to leave….. and my heart began to sink
Knowing I’d never see this beauty again we held each other close
We kissed again and that was it….. watching her walk off…
It was a cold night, my heart broke slowly

For weeks I will stay like this
