I heard a story in the news today,
It made my day a little grey,
A kid was hit and killed for being a punk,
The kid in the Caddy that hit him was drunk,
The kid in the Caddy received probation,
Which isn't enough he needs medication,
He should be sentanced life in jail,
He should never be allowed out with bail,
The kid that died had family and friends,
And wasn't one to follow trends,
He wasn't perfect no one is,
But the life that was evily taken was his,
They said he died in the arms of his brother,
He left him and his father and mother,
I don't think he wanted to leave,
He had goals he wanted to acheive,
This story has brought many tears,
And has touched many people as it appears,
If you want to help than spread the word,
Let people know that this act has occured.
