When I lay my head down to sleep
I dream of many different things
Like how my day went
What tomorrow is going to be like
And what my future might hold for me

There is a man that keeps appearing in all of my dreams
I keep wondering who this man is
Is this the guy I'm suppose to marry
Who is he
He is everything I ever wanted in a man

When the dreams are over, I awaken
Awaken to see reality
My reality is boring
It’s boring because my dream man is in dreamland
Somewhere that I wish to stay forever

Going on with reality, I've met someone special
Someone who is sweet, kind, open-minded, and generous
This man qualities remind me of someone
He reminds me of the man from my dreams
I don't enact on what I feel, I wait to find out more

As time passes on, I learn and see who he really is
What he is like
What he likes to do
And after all, that I found I've come to find out that he is My Dream Man
