when do you really know its thru
what are the signs
how do you know when its time to find a new
if you can't read between the lines

when you say you need me
when you hold me so tight
how do i know its not meant to be
and that its just not right

you've been holding this inside
you've lost interest in me
but i couldn't tell or see that in your eyes
you just kept it a secret
just kept feeding me lies

i guess you didn't realize
or maybe you just didn't see
that i've been here waiting on you
waiting for the simple words, saying you want me
saying you want to see this thing thru

but you just left me
no warning, no sign
and here i am asking "what are we"

so much has changed
and there's still so many reminders
its either never seeing you,
or its just knowing my lifes rearranged

its so hard to just have to type this all down
