Friendship

What is life without a friend?
It is just something to dread.
For in our innermost soul,
we believe that there lives,
a heart so precious to us.
A heart whose sorrows and joys,
are our own,
a heart whose companionship,
fills us with joy.
When such a heart we find.
We call it friendship,
only in a disguise.
