I will always give my praise to Jesus
Because He redeems me from all my sin.
How can I refrain from showering Him
With my songs of joy - His love it pleases
Me and by His hand my strife decreases.
Others always ask me why I'm placing
All of my chips on the Man from Heaven;
My reward of His love never ceases.
I'll continue singing songs of His praise
Because Jesus saves me from affliction.
Wreaths of shame I wore are being replaced
