DISTANT FAMILY

The lonely sorrow that's in your heart
when you and your Loved ones are far apart
They're miles away, and you need them near
you want them close, you want them here
You need to be held and reassured
when "I Love you" needs to be heard
The pain you feel, when you're alone
does not go away when you're on the phone
The voice sounds sweet, but it's not the same
the lonely feelings still remain
All it takes is to see a smile
or hug each other, once in a while
