Would you wish your sturdy guise to be portrayed in cryptic hue?
While flattering that I should chant, such rendering may be severe.
A comment here or smile there becomes to me a writer’s hoax
Permission; no, but stubborn words invade my mind upon your voice.

Personified are gestures grand while just a glance becomes my scrawl
And feelings or your fancies are put forth for one to scrutinize.
Intensity as frivolous if my mind deems such requisite
Or covert hints to private depth are plastered upon public theme.

So as my actions are my words and here I sit with seedy pen.
