I will love you till the last rose wilts and fades away

Everyday a rose wilts and fades away, But my love will last forever. Every hour a petal falls to my dismay, But my grasp will last forever.
Last week was your birthday, I can't believe I wasn't there, To be with you in every way, But as some say, Life isn't fair.
But well, I'm here today, And hope to never let you go. Even though I know this period of play, Will end soon, my emotions I cannot show.
But as I said before, Every rose fades away, But we have a special rose One that time cannot decay. This is perfect love I shall never repose
This is my first poem and I am going to give it to a very special lady when I get off the airplane. If you see anything you think could improve this poem please feel free to e-mail me. It is going to go with a dozen roses and one fake one...that will never fade away.
